If you are reading this it means you are interested in Onelife Initiative’s NGO Academy. The Academy is for young people not older than 27 years who are desirous of understanding the NGO space and most importantly want to work in one, almost immediately. It is not an Academy for Founders. It is for newcomers into the sector or those who have before now only had an opportunity for Volunteering. Please note we are a Nigerian-based non-profit and not an International organisation. Young people, who are teachers in private schools, and who are also looking to change career paths are also welcome to apply if they meet the basic requirement. It is not an opportunity for serving corps members.

The academy is for a period of 2 months at a stretch and would be starting May, 2023. Mondays to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm. Please if you have other engagements during this period, kindly note that we won’t approve permissions especially as 2 months is short and we desire to work with participants at the academy to maximise the period. It’s a hands-on session all through. We are excited about this opportunity and will be expanding this in the coming months.
