SRHR & MEL VACANCY

PROGRAMMES OFFICER, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR)

Onelife Initiative seeks to engage an experienced Programmes Officer on its Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) desk in our Ibadan Office. The staff will be responsible for planning and execution of programmes, projects, and activities relating to Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights.

It is a full time on-site role.

Job Details

  • Lead and manage SRHR projects from design to execution, ensuring all activities align with established work plans, timelines, and expected results while supervising assigned human resources.
  • Support monitoring, evaluation, and data collection efforts to track project activities, manage knowledge, and develop technical reports, policy briefs, and fact sheets for publication.
  • Drive resource mobilisation and content creation by designing proposals and concept notes for fundraising, alongside producing IEC/BCC materials for capacity building and external use.
  • Support demand generation for SRHR services among Nigerian adolescents and young people, while collaborating with other programmatic desks across the organisation as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A female candidate under 30 years old, holding a first degree in health or social sciences (a Master’s degree is an advantage).

  • Minimum of two years experience in SRHR program support within an NGO or social enterprise, with a strong technical understanding of SRHR issues from national to international levels.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite and Google products, with strong session delivery and professional writing skills for proposals, reports, and concept notes.

  • Fluent in Yoruba (mandatory for the local context), detail-oriented, able to work under minimal supervision, and ready to travel within and outside Ibadan at short notice.

MONITORING, EVALUATION AND LEARNING OFFICER

Onelife Initiative seeks to engage an experienced Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Officer in its Ibadan Office. The staff will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating activities and outcomes at different levels and on all projects of the organisation.

It is a full time role.

Job Role

1. Support project monitoring and evaluation by providing guidance on M&E frameworks and working closely with the project officer and team members to ensure excellent data and impact reporting.

2. Design and oversee project frameworks, including work plans and log frames, while initiating and managing all research and field data collection efforts.

3. Maintain quality control and data systems by assisting with internal evaluations, conducting quality assessments on project data, and managing the database for learning outcomes.

4. Review performance against targets by collaborating with staff across various projects to track outcomes against baselines and annual indicators, while supporting broader organisational activities.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • A candidate under 30 years old at the time of submission, holding a first degree in statistics, social sciences, or a related field (a Master’s degree is an advantage).

  • Minimum of two years of MEL experience within an NGO or social enterprise on donor-funded projects, with a strong technical grasp of results-based management and logical frameworks in health, governance, or youth programs.

  • Proficient in data analysis software (SPSS, STATA, NVIVO, Excel) and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, with experience using mobile data collection tools like KoboToolbox or ODK.

  • Proven ability to design data tools, conduct field monitoring, analyze quantitative and qualitative data, and write high-quality MEL reports, learning briefs, and success stories under tight deadlines.
