Job Opportunity: Projects Officer, SRHR

Location: Ikole Ekiti, Ekiti State

Are you passionate about advancing Reproductive Rights, Gender Justice, and Contraception? Do you have experience in SRHR programming? We are looking for a dedicated Projects Officer to join our Ikole Ekiti office and oversee our initiatives in and around Ekiti State.

Key Responsibilities:
– Oversee and manage SRHR projects in Ekiti State;
– Liaise with government stakeholders and other actors;
– Develop and implement programs addressing Reproductive Rights, Gender Justice, and Contraception;
– Engage with local communities to promote and educate on SRHR issues;
– Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to achieve project goals;
– Monitor and evaluate project outcomes to ensure effectiveness and impact.

Qualifications:

– A degree in social sciences, humanities preferred. An advanced degree in development related studies or public health would be an added advantage;
– Proven experience in SRHR programming;
– Strong understanding of contemporary issues around Reproductive Rights, Gender Justice, and Contraception;
– Excellent communication and organizational skills;
– Ability to work on-site in Ikole Ekiti and commit to a full-time role;
– Proficiency in Excel, Powerpoint, Microsoft Word and internet research skills;
– It is not an entry-level position; candidates should have relevant work experience;
– Ability to speak the local language is compulsory.
