Running a non-profit organisation or any organisat Running a non-profit organisation or any organisation at all can look simple on the surface but over 50 guests and members of Child Protection Network, #CPN in Oyo State learnt otherwise yesterday during the capacity building training on NGO Regulations and Processes: Key Operational Document every organisation needs. It is overwhelming but can be done. The session dealt with issues around #WHT, #VAT, Institutional Documentation, #Pensions, #PAYE, #Insurance for #NGOs using various examples from our work at Onelife Initiative for Human Development. Positioning an NGO for Relevance and Opportunities in the Global world should be a desire for all non-profit actors. We are happy to hear the feedback. Passion is not enough. If it is not documented, it is a lie! Building an organisation? Earlier today, as part of our advocacy to end fema Earlier today, as part of our advocacy to end female genital mutilation, we paid an advocacy visit to the Executive Secretary of Oyo State Agency for Youth Development Mrs Aerat Adegbola who signed the petition to support the ending of FGM in Nigeria and other African Union Member state. Part of her commitment was to make sure we liaise with the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Oyo State Chapter so we can work together with #youths in Oyo State. #Youthendfgm #16daysofactivism2021 #endfgm #orangetheworld
